Please join the Illini Volleyball Officials Association and Champaign Officials Association on Sunday, February 2, at the Urbana VFW Post 630 from 1:30 – 4:00, 1303 E. Main, Urbana, Illinois.
We will be discussing Mahomet-Seymour’s journey to their state championship in 2024!
Mahomet Seymour’s head coach Stan Bergman will be with us from 1:30 – 2:15 to discuss their amazing trip to State and provide insight on his experience with the officiating last year.
We will also shine the light on 2 of our members who were selected for their first trip to the IHSA state championship series. Andrea Vanleer and Debbie Ghere will discuss the pregame and postgame discussions with the evaluators.
We will also discuss situational plays from our current junior high season and the noted differences in the junior high game.
Drinks and snacks will be provided by the IVOA & COA.
